Congratulations Sarah & Steve

We broke all kinds of records with this wedding! Most stuff packed in the car, our longest day yet, and quickest room setup. I was amazed at what we actually fit into our car! Cornhole boards, a 6 foot ladder, 4 cocktail tables, 4 linens, a 20x20 canopy tent, 16 centerpieces, 6 bouquets, 2 wreaths, boxes of decor (lanterns, lights, 150 candles, boxes of liquor, emergency kit, and my husband. :) We filled my assistant's car with boxes of alcohol, jars of jam, and more decor. I have NEVER had so much stuff in our car before! It was all worth it for such a sweet couple! Also, I have to give HUGE props to my team at this wedding, Jamie and Xiomi. Without their help, I couldn't have pulled off such a huge day!

The setup circus began at 10am. Outside, we setup a tent and cornhole. Inside, we assembled centerpieces and lanterns. Then at noon we had to leave the venue until 2 (venue rules), so we went to the hotel, picked up all the vendor payments from the bride and groom, and headed to the church to setup there. We lined the aisle with natural logs and arrangements of baby's breath, which then doubled as centerpieces at the reception. Baby's breath was the theme throughout...bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, wreaths....

Back to the reception hall at 2, we did our quickest setup ever! We hung lights and lanterns, set out 16 centerpieces, put out 124 place cards, lit over 100 candles, setup 4 cocktail tables, put out table numbers, setup guestbook and seating chart, and cleaned up our boxes and mess.....all in an hour and a half. I swear we were all working so hard and so fast we had smoke coming out our ears!

The cocktail hour started at 4:30, the dining room opened at 6:00, and dinner was at 6:30.
At 9:30, the bride and groom had planned a surprise for their guests...we showed up with Dunkin Doughnuts! Everyone was thrilled, and people snacked on them until the end of the reception at midnight. There was also a sweet favor for the guests to take home...homemade jams, jellies and marmalade from the bride's parents.

All in all it was a fabulous day! The ceremony was perfect, the reception was beautiful, and the guests were all complimentary the entire day. Sarah and Steve are seriously the sweetest couple, and I'm feeling sad that our planning time is over! Their honeymoon plans include a trip to West Virginia, and a later trip to New Zealand. An amazing trip to follow an amazing wedding! Lots of love and luck to the new Mr. & Mrs., Sarah and Steve....

Amy and Jamey,

You did an absolutely amazing job on our wedding. We got so many comments on the decor, flowers. Steve and I loved working with both of you, and I too am sad that our planning time is over. I can't recommend you enough to other couples, and I hope that your business continues to grow. You and Jamey truly care about the couples that you work with, and that is such a huge attribute when dealing with the craziness of wedding planning. Thank you for everything you did for us.
