Most of the time when I first sit down with a couple, they either don't know their budget or say they don't have one. Spending can get out of control FAST that way, so we always try to give our couples worksheets and tips for staying on budget.
CostofWedding.com is a new tool that everyone's buzzing about. It allows you to see what the average cost of a wedding is in your specific area. Just enter your zip code and it will tell you all the stats in detail about what the people in your area are spending, and what they're spending it on. This won't set your budget for you, but it will give you a good idea as to what you can expect to spend.
